Tallinn launces new support for live music venues

From today, 11 July, small and medium-sized live music clubs in Tallinn can apply for programming grant for the autumn winter season of 2022. All indoor concert venues that organise regular concerts and can accommodate up to 1,000 people are eligible to apply.

Heavy fuel oil spills cleaned up on Stroomi beach swimming area

The Rescue Board, in cooperation with the Environmental Board and the Põhja-Tallinn District Government, is cleaning up the pollution of old heavy fuel oil discovered in the central part of Stroomi beach. Until the beach is inspected and cleaned up, swimming on Stroomi beach is strictly not recommended. Going into the water is at swimmers’ own risk.

Design of Tallinn major hospital continues

Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart confirmed at today's press conference that the city plans to finalise the design of the Tallinn Hospital and will start looking for alternative sources of funding.

Construction of Tallinn Zoo's Tiigriorg starts in July

The City of Tallinn has signed a contract for the construction of the Tiigriorg (Tiger Valley) exhibition in Tallinn Zoo with the joint contractor ATEMO OÜ/EG Ehitus AS. The works will start in the second half of July, after the end of the timber harvest halt due to breeding season.
