Bike path construction begins on Mere and Kaarli puiestee

Due to construction work, the Mere puiestee bus stop will be closed from July 3, and the Vabaduse väljak stops on Kaarli puiestee towards the city centre will be closed from July 8. The project includes the construction of new bike and pedestrian paths, tree planting, and the reconstruction of water and sewer systems.

Construction of Kadaka puiestee viaduct to begin in July

On Wednesday, July 3, construction will begin on Kadaka puiestee to replace the current deteriorating overpass with a new viaduct. This project aims to ensure a safer traffic environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. Temporary changes to public transport routes and traffic arrangements in city centre

Starting Monday, June 10, construction work on water and sewer lines will begin on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, leading to traffic restrictions. At the same time, two-way traffic for both cars and public transport will be restored on Gonsiori Street, which has been closed since March last year due to the construction of the Old City Harbour tramway. Additionally, from June 7, the southern branch of Ahtri Street will be opened to traffic, and traffic in the harbour area will be fully restored.

Tallinn to build a 14-kilometer linear park

Next week, construction will begin on the first phase of the Putukaväil (The Pollinator Highway) project in Tallinn, creating a new pedestrian and cyclist corridor between Ristiku and Sõle streets and establishing a diverse linear park that connects Sõle Street with Kolde puiestee.

Construction of Paldiski maantee pedestrian tunnel begins in June

Starting Monday, June 10, construction will begin on the pedestrian tunnel at the intersection of Paldiski maantee and Tehnika Street. This project will result in temporary changes to traffic arrangements and, in later stages, a temporary disruption of train services around the Balti jaam train station.
