The City of Tallinn will build pedestrian and cycling paths on Gonsiori Street between Vesivärava and Laagna tee, while Tallinna Vesi will reconstruct the stormwater collector and drainage system near the intersection.

Odra Street will be closed to traffic from March 5 to June 15, 2025, due to construction work. Access for local residents, pedestrians, and cyclists will be maintained throughout the construction period. During this time, access to the Tallinn Bus Station will also be temporarily modified.

Last week, installation started of twenty-eight new road thresholds on Tallinn's streets, and works are estimated to proceed until the end of July.

An inspection of winter maintenance equipment took place in eight districts of Tallinn this week to check the readiness of snow clearing machines for the start of the season. New maintenance partners will start this year in several districts.

Construction work on Tallinna Vesi’s water and sewer lines continues on Suur-Ameerika street. The project has reached a phase where previously closed sections will begin to reopen to traffic.

The reconstruction of Lastekodu street and the construction of communication lines at the intersection of Liivalaia street, Tartu maantee, and Rävala puiestee will bring traffic changes and public transport reroutes starting July 15. Traffic controllers will assist in guiding the traffic flow.

Due to the construction of a pedestrian tunnel on Paldiski road, Baltic Station will be closed for rail traffic from July 15 to 21. During this period, the starting and ending points for passenger trains will be at Lilleküla, Kitseküla, and Tallinn-Väike train stops.

Starting August 1st, tram lines No. 3 and 4 will resume service to the Tondi terminus.

Several roadworks in the city are nearing completion, bringing some relief to traffic and allowing certain bus lines that were previously diverted to return to their usual routes. However, ongoing projects in Tallinn will continue to affect traffic in the coming weeks.
