Caused by a major water leakage on the corner of Mere puiestee and Ahtri street, the traffic of tram line No. 1 is currently stopped and the tram line No. 2 is temporarily running on a free schedule on the route Vana-Lõuna – Suur Paala. A replacement bus line is running between Kopli and Hobujaama tram stops.
Some one-way roads in Tallinn have had traffic signs installed that permit bicycle traffic in the opposite direction as well. More places like this will be created, as installation of signs on several streets began last week.
Tram line 5 will resume service in Tallinn on November 1, operating along the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route for the first time since 2004. Temporary tram line number 6, which was established due to the construction work in the city center, will continue to operate until October 31.
From November 1, tram line No. 5 will be reinstated in Tallinn, operating on the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route. The temporary tram route No. 6, connecting Tondi and Kopli, will end its service. All trams' schedules will be updated to work better together. The schedules for trolleybus routes will also be updated to improve their efficiency.
Due to construction work on Tehnika Street between Veerenni and Vana-Lõuna streets, temporary changes will be made to the routes and stops for bus lines No. 3, 39, and 73 from 22:00 on Friday, August 9, until the end of the day on Sunday, August 11.
