Modern sports and leisure area to be developed in Merivälja Park
The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, in collaboration with the Pirita District Government, is planning the renovation of Merivälja Park. The goal is to preserve the park's natural charm while offering modern and versatile opportunities for active recreation for visitors of all ages.
The architectural competition for Tallinna Reaalkool won by Molumba with the design R²
The architectural competition for the extension of Tallinna Reaalkool – Tallinn Secondary School of Science – has been won by an Estonian architecture office Molumba with the design R². Construction is scheduled to start in 2024.
City government appoints new district governors for Kesklinn, Pirita, and Põhja-Tallinn
Today, in a special session, the Tallinn City Government appointed new governors for the districts of Kesklinn, Pirita, and Põhja-Tallinn. Starting today, May 3, Sander Andla will lead Kesklinn, Doris Raudsepp will head Pirita, and Külli Tammur will manage Põhja-Tallinn. All candidates have also received approval from their respective district councils.
International animal welfare conference brings together experts in the field
The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department, in collaboration with the Estonian Society for the Protection of Animals (ELS), is organizing the fifth International Animal Welfare Conference. The event will take place from October 4 to 5 at Erinevate Tubade Klubi in Telliskivi Creative City. The conference welcomes all animal enthusiasts, particularly those who work with or care for animals.
