Kursi Street and Põhja pst. intersections will be closed to traffic from 24 July to 30 September due to construction works on the Vanasadama tramway. The locations of the bus stops for bus lines 3, 66 and 73 will be relocated for the duration of the construction.

Temporary tram line no. 6, which was created due to construction works on the Vanasadama tram line, will continue operating on the Tondi-Kopli route at least until the end of September, when tram traffic on all other lines has been restored. Tram lines no. 2 and 4 will restart operation at the beginning of September, with no. 1 and 3 doing so at the start of October. The city is considering the possibility of having line no. 6 operate on a permanent basis.

Due to ongoing roadworks in Tallinn City Centre, residents are advised to use public transport and plan extra time for their journeys. The challenging traffic conditions are partially alleviated in the autumn by the gradual restoration of tram lines and the reopening of several intersections for cars.

Tallinn Marathon will draw around 20,000 sports enthusiasts from over 70 countries to the districts of Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, and Haabersti from 8 to 10 September. This will lead to temporary changes in Tallinn's traffic and public transport.

The temporary tram line No. 6, introduced during the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line, will continue to operate on the Tondi-Kopli route until at least the end of October. Starting on October 1, the rest of the tram traffic will be fully restored. The City is also exploring the option of permanently continuing with tram line No. 6

In response to Minister of the Interior Lauri Läänemets, Tallinn's Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart has expressed the city's request for an extension in making the decision to close the Kopli fire department and has offered to contribute to its continued operation.

Tram line 5 will resume service in Tallinn on November 1, operating along the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route for the first time since 2004. Temporary tram line number 6, which was established due to the construction work in the city center, will continue to operate until October 31.

Tallinn City Government has submitted the draft of the city's second supplementary budget for 2023 to the City Council, which specifies budgeted revenues, expenditures, investments, and financing transactions. From November 1, tram line No. 5 will be reinstated in Tallinn, operating on the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route. The temporary tram route No. 6, connecting Tondi and Kopli, will end its service. All trams' schedules will be updated to work better together. The schedules for trolleybus routes will also be updated to improve their efficiency.
