Tallinn skips fireworks; public transport runs longer on New Year's Eve
This year, Tallinn will welcome the new year with a concert and light show, foregoing fireworks as part of the celebration. On New Year’s Eve, January 1, early hours, several lines will run longer to ensure partygoers can get home using public transport.
Tallinn public transport during Christmas and New Year
During the Christmas holidays, Tallinn public transport will operate on a Sunday schedule. On December 31, due to the concert and light show at Vabaduse väljak, the area will be closed to traffic, and buses passing through will be rerouted.
