Tallinn climbed four spots to become the 62nd most innovative startup friendly city globally and 15th in Europe on the StartupBlink ranking of the world’s startup ecosystems.
Energy subsidies can be applied for in Tallinn until 12 June
Until 12 June, Tallinn residents can apply for energy subsidies for expenses incurred between September 2021 and the end of April 2022. The applications have been accepted since 17 January, and more than 36,770 applications have been submitted to the Tallinn Social Welfare and Health Care Department so far.

Next year the current kindergarten fees will remain the same for Tallinn residents
Tallinn will continue to compensate families for the increase in kindergarten fees in the new year - parents will receive a subsidy or compensation if the child and at least one parent are continuously resident in Tallinn from 31 December 2022 onwards.
