From 4–7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG) – the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. The competition brings together city delegations from across the globe.

Starting from June 13 until August 30, Tallinn will open 38 municipal school stadiums for free public use. The official Launch will take place on June 13 at noon at the Kristiine Spordimaja's outdoor field, with a concert by Clicherik & Mäx and OLLIE in the evening at the Pelgulinna School stadium.

The renovated Miiamilla Children's Museum was opened on January 11 by the Estonian President Alar Karis, Sirje Karis, Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart, and children who contributed to the museum’s completion. UNESCO City of Music Tallinn will commemorate Estonia’s Restoration of Independence Day with a traditional concert at Harjumägi’s 20th of August Square.
