Tallinn to host the world’s largest sports event for children
From 4–7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG) – the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. The competition brings together city delegations from across the globe.
38 school stadiums opened for public use this summer
Starting from June 13 until August 30, Tallinn will open 38 municipal school stadiums for free public use. The official Launch will take place on June 13 at noon at the Kristiine Spordimaja's outdoor field, with a concert by Clicherik & Mäx and OLLIE in the evening at the Pelgulinna School stadium.
42 school stadiums and sports fields open for public use this summer
From June 13 to August 30, Tallinn is opening 38 school stadiums and four sports fields for free public use. Sports equipment boxes, containing items like balls, will be available for borrowing on-site.

Miiamilla Children's Museum reopens with exciting new features
The renovated Miiamilla Children's Museum was opened on January 11 by the Estonian President Alar Karis, Sirje Karis, Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart, and children who contributed to the museum’s completion. The new permanent exhibition "Children's Universes" welcomes visitors starting Saturday, January 13.
Tallinn Day celebrations extend over two days this year
This year is the 776th anniversary of the day Tallinn was granted city rights under Lübeck Law. This significant historical event will be celebrated during Tallinn Day, now in its 23rd occurrence. The festivities will take place on May 15 and 18, welcoming all residents and visitors.
Estonia’s Restoration of Independence Day celebrated with a concert at 20th of August Square
UNESCO City of Music Tallinn will commemorate Estonia’s Restoration of Independence Day with a traditional concert at Harjumägi’s 20th of August Square. The concert will take place on Tuesday, August 20, at 14:00 and is free for all. Mayor Jevgeni Ossinovski will greet fellow citizens on this festive day.

The evaluation committee of the Tallinn Entrepreneurship Awards competition has selected 23 ventures to continue competing for the city's entrepreneurship awards across seven main categories. The nominees include established businesses with extensive experience and large workforces, innovative technology-based enterprises, and notable development and tourism projects.
European Capital of Sport opening day draws thousands
