Starting Monday, January 15, the route of bus line No. 35 will change in the city centre on Narva maantee and Pronksi Street.

The Tallinn City Government has approved the initiative to draft the "Tallinn Environmental Noise Reduction Action Plan 2024–2028." This plan aligns with the "Tallinn 2035" development strategy and the city's mobility plan, aiming to manage environmental noise within the city, particularly noise resulting from transportation and industry.

Today marked the reopening of the Tallinn Athletics Hall, following extensive renovations. The facility now boasts significantly improved conditions for both training and hosting competitions in various sports. In addition to athletics, the hall is equipped to host competitions in judo, wrestling, karate, fencing, shooting, weightlifting, and other sports.

Experts from Tallinn Botanic Garden have conducted studies in recent years, showing that Tallinn has preserved a significant diversity of lichens and mosses, including species that are endangered and protected in Estonia.

The initial phase of Tallinn's “Safe School Route” (“Turvaline koolitee”) program is set to focus on 14 schools within the city, addressing safety challenges around school vicinities such as safe sidewalks, bike lanes, street crossings, parking areas, and the implementation of traffic calming measures. Over the coming years, the program is planned to expand, encompassing all schools within Tallinn that require similar safety enhancements in their surrounding areas.

This year, Tallinn is providing residents with free legal advice during 17 consultation days scheduled across all districts. In February, consultation days are on the 22nd, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Nõmme District Government and on the 29th, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Haabersti District Government.

Construction on the Old City Harbor tramway will continue on March 4, and construction at the Tondi railway crossing will begin on March 15. The continuation of construction work will lead to changes in traffic and public transport routes.

Last year, Tallinn recorded 2.95 million international visits, over half of which were multi-day visits. The number of overnight stays in accommodation establishments reached 1.18 million guests, with the average length of stay increasing.

Renovation works of amortized water pipelines will take place in Tondimõisa park and its surroundings until April 30. Due to construction works, Tondimõisa park is partially closed to visitors. For safe movement in the park and its surroundings, please follow the temporary traffic regulations.

As part of the Old City Harbour tramway construction, the urban space solution for Laikmaa Street is set to introduce a balanced mobility environment, more greenery, and convenient public transport infrastructure.
