Today, the Tallinn City Government approved the detailed plan for the Krulli Factory Quarter in Põhja-Tallinn. This plan will transform the historic Franz Krulli machine factory complex into a versatile urban area, integrating residential and business spaces while preserving its cultural heritage values.

During the Christmas holidays, Tallinn public transport will operate on a Sunday schedule. On December 31, due to the concert and light show at Vabaduse väljak, the area will be closed to traffic, and buses passing through will be rerouted. However, on New Year’s Eve, January 1, early hours, several lines will run longer to ensure partygoers can get home using public transport.

As of today, December 1, tram line 2 begins operating through Vanasadam (Old City Harbour). The tram currently runs on the route Kopli–Vanasadam–Suur-Paala but will extend to the airport once the Ülemiste Rail Baltic terminal is completed.
