From 19 December to 4 January and from 4 March to 31 May, the exhibition "A year in Tallinn 2022" will be open from 19 December to 4 January.

The first free Museum Sunday of 2023 will take place this Sunday, 8 January. The initiative will be joined by the Nõmme Museum, located in the former station building.

The Museum Sundays programme, which attracted nearly 60 000 visitors last year, will continue this year, but from February it will be necessary to buy a zero ticket to visit the branches of Tallinn City Museum.

From next Sunday, 5 February, free entry tickets are required to visit Tallinn City Museum branches on Museum Sundays. The tickets are available on the Tallinn City Museum website.

At the 18th Tallinn Youth Work Awards Gala "Suured teod" held yesterday, the nominees for 2022 were recognised in five categories: great achievements of Tallinn's youth, great achievements for Tallinn's youth, Tallinn youth worker of the year, Tallinn young volunteer of the year and Tallinn youth association of the year.

This Sunday, 6 November, admission to museums affiliated to Tallinn Museum is free of charge. The next and last Museum Sunday in which the entry is free will take place on 4 December.

Tomorrow, 25 November at 6pm, the traditional Christmas market will open at Town Hall Square and the lights will be lit on Tallinn's central Christmas tree. The traditional first Advent candle will be lit on the tree in Town Hall Square by Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and Tallinn's Provost Jaan Tammsalu this Sunday at 4pm.

The city of Tallinn carried out a pilot project utilizing muon tomography technology to non-destructively examine the structures and internal components of two municipal buildings – Vabaduse väljak 7 and Raekoja plats 12 – as part of the Test in Tallinn project.
