Eight political parties, two electoral alliances and ten independent candidates have submitted their candidacy documents to the electoral committee for the Tallinn City Council elections.

At today’s cabinet meeting, the members of the Government approved the decisions on the basis of which even more wide-ranging restrictions will come into force in Estonia from Thursday, March 11 until April 11. Young athletes from Tallinn have once again been given the opportunity to apply to the Tallinn Sports School competitive athlete programme. For the first time, applications are also open to deaf and para-athletes. Applications for the next two seasons can be submitted until 19 June 2023.

Today, 9 June, KUU and Nikita Atikin’s architects presented rough plans for the new building of Tallinn Hobby Centre Kullo. Although primarily meant for children and young people, the building will also become a modern community centre, adding value to the entire area.

Tallinn, UNESCO City of Music and Eesti Kontsert’s successful concert program will bring 27 concerts to 27 different schools this season. The first concerts start today, November 1, and will last until the end of December.

Until April 29, the application round is open for organizing cultural events during the urban space festival ’Kultuuriöö (Culture Night)’, taking place on August 30. This year's Culture Night carries the subtitle “Boundless Horizons”, highlighting alternative cultural forms operating on the fringes.
