On December 3, the Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations (Eesti Korteriühistute Liit), in collaboration with the City of Tallinn's SOFTacademy project, is organizing an Apartment Building Renovation Day at the Innovation and Business Center Mektory (Raja 15, Tallinn). The event will introduce practical solutions for modern and environmentally friendly building renovations.

The 2025 city budget prioritizes promoting active lifestyles among Tallinners and developing sports infrastructure, with a total allocation of €36.4 million for operating and investment costs in the sports and physical activity sector.

Tallinn has been selected as the host city for the 2025 International Children's Games that takes place under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee. Tallinn Central Library and its branch libraries will open from 9 AM during the first half of next week, from January 22 to 24, coinciding with the beginning of the teachers' strike. They welcome children and students to come in for reading and studying.

As the nationwide strike of general education school teachers begins on Monday, January 22, most of Tallinn's municipal general education schools will participate. Starting from Wednesday, January 24, support strikes will also be initiated by employees of pre-school, hobby, and vocational education institutions.

The City of Tallinn and the Estonian School Sports Union have entered into a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration and supporting and increasing the physical activity of school-aged students. The agreement was signed by Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and the President of the Estonian School Sports Union, Gerd Kanter.
