Starting June 1, the Tallinn Transport Department will have a new contract partner for traffic control equipment maintenance - KiirWarren.KL OÜ. Consequently, the contact information for reporting traffic light failures or damaged signs will change.

Starting Monday, June 10, construction will begin on the pedestrian tunnel at the intersection of Paldiski maantee and Tehnika Street. This project will result in temporary changes to traffic arrangements and, in later stages, a temporary disruption of train services around the Balti jaam train station.

Today, the Kopli Volunteer Rescue Squad begins operations, offering basic rescue capabilities. This includes a 24/7 smoke diving rescue team capable of responding within 60 seconds, equivalent to the response time of professional firefighters.

Starting Monday, June 10, construction work on water and sewer lines will begin on F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street, leading to traffic restrictions. The Tallinn Property Department has announced an idea competition for the design of a new building for Nõmme põhikool. The competition is open to all qualified architects and architectural firms. The goal is to create a modern learning environment to replace the existing school building.

On July 1, speed cameras located in the area of the Reidi tee, Narva maantee, and Pirita tee intersection will be activated. These cameras will not only detect speed violations but also those who ignore red traffic lights.

The Tallinn City Government has decided to proceed with the current design plan for the Hipodroomi intersection development, as it accommodates all modes of transportation and offers sufficient traffic capacity. The city supports the developer in the swift implementation of the project.

Due to the new phase of the Old City Harbour tramway construction, traffic management will be adjusted around the Linnahall intersection area starting Monday, July 1, and a segment of Rannamäe tee will be temporarily closed to facilitate the construction of a bicycle path.
