The City of Tallinn offers residents free legal advice on consultation days scheduled in each district. The next consultation days will be held on March 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pirita District Government and on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Põhja-Tallinn District Government.

Tallinn's ice rinks are soon closing for the current season - the ice rinks in Lasnamäe, Mustamäe, and Nõmme will remain open until the end of this week, March 17. The Old Town ice rink will stay open until the end of the month.

This year, restoration or conservation works are planned for the Old Town's earthwork fortification, St. Catherine's Church, and the ruins of Pirita Convent in Tallinn. The Tallinn Property Department has finalized a contract with Bergland OÜ to introduce independent backup power systems across five key facilities in Tallinn. This initiative will outfit these locations with stationary diesel generators, securing a continuous electricity supply for the city's emergency response centers.

The Tallinn Transport Department is installing eight speed awareness displays across the city to remind drivers of the current speed limits. These emotion cameras display vehicle speeds and provide feedback to drivers, showing whether they are complying with speed restrictions.

The city and culture festival, Culture Night, fills Tallinn with music, art, film, workshops, discussions and walks on 25 August.

The Tallinn City Government has submitted a budget proposal for 2024 to the City Council, totaling 1.26 billion euros, marking an increase of 79.5 million euros or 6.7 percent compared to the revised 2023 budget.

The construction of the Old City Harbour tramway along Põhja puiestee near Linnahall is set to disrupt tram services to Kopli from May 3 until mid-August. During the first weekend of May, tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will be out of service. From May 6, a temporary tram line No. 1 will operate between Kopli and Linnahall stops.
