Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 21st time on Sunday 15 May, but the first events to mark the city's birthday will take place on Friday 13 May.

Tallinn Day is celebrated as fitting to a UNESCO City of Music - with a wide range of music events and concerts. The programme starts on Friday 13 May with a music morning in Tallinn schools.

Due to construction work, the Mere puiestee bus stop will be closed from July 3, and the Vabaduse väljak stops on Kaarli puiestee towards the city centre will be closed from July 8. The project includes the construction of new bike and pedestrian paths, tree planting, and the reconstruction of water and sewer systems.

On Thursday morning, 60 large and small sailing ships of the international sailing training regatta Tall Ships Races arrived at three ports in Tallinn. The event opened with the concert "Lainel" („On the wave“) which was specifically created for this opening.

The second day of the international sailing training regatta, The Tall Ships Races Tallinn, offered visitors an exciting parade of sailing trainees and ship crews, along with performances by well-known Estonian artists across all three harbors.

Due to filming activities, there will be short-term traffic stoppages of up to three minutes on Sunday morning, July 14, on Laagna tee, Veskiposti street, and at the Haabersti roundabout. Additionally, there will be stoppages on Pirita tee on Tuesday evening.

Both the Tall Ships Races vessels and those participating in the Muhu Väina regatta joined forces for an impressive display on the bay of Tallinn.
