Tram line 5 will resume service in Tallinn on November 1, operating along the Kopli-Vana-Lõuna route for the first time since 2004. Temporary tram line number 6, which was established due to the construction work in the city center, will continue to operate until October 31.

During the weekends of October 21-22 and October 28-29, Tallinn residents can dispose of hazardous waste and reusable items at local collection events.

Tallinn City Government has submitted the draft of the city's second supplementary budget for 2023 to the City Council, which specifies budgeted revenues, expenditures, investments, and financing transactions. During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn participated in a city-organized collection drive, handing over approximately 23,930.90 kilograms of hazardous waste and 107 cubic meters of reusable items. Tallinn residents have the ongoing opportunity to dispose of their hazardous household waste at no cost at six designated collection points throughout the city and at four waste treatment plants all year round.

The City Government has approved the detailed planning for properties located in Põhja-Tallinn at Telliskivi Street 62 and 64, at A. Adamson Street 12 in the city centre, along with adjacent properties at Kevade Street 8. Additionally, the detailed planning for properties at Apteegi Street 3, 5, 7, and 9 was initiated.

The fourth participatory budgeting idea collection initiative in Tallinn has concluded successfully, with 492 ideas submitted, out of which 149 proposals have been selected for public voting. Residents can cast their votes for their favorite proposals starting Monday, November 20, until December 3, 2023.

Starting from December, Tallinn will gradually modify parking regulations on certain streets to improve street maintenance and snow clearing. Parking will be prohibited on specific days of the week or at certain hours, and drivers are advised to pay attention to traffic signs.
