Tallinn Day is celebrated as fitting to a UNESCO City of Music - with a wide range of music events and concerts. The programme starts on Friday 13 May with a music morning in Tallinn schools.

Construction work on Tallinna Vesi’s water and sewer lines continues on Suur-Ameerika street. The project has reached a phase where previously closed sections will begin to reopen to traffic.

The reconstruction of Lastekodu street and the construction of communication lines at the intersection of Liivalaia street, Tartu maantee, and Rävala puiestee will bring traffic changes and public transport reroutes starting July 15. Traffic controllers will assist in guiding the traffic flow.

On Sunday, July 21, the Lauri Aus memorial competition will take place, resulting in changes to the bus routes in the Pirita area. These changes will affect bus lines No. 1, 6, 8, 34, and 38.

Due to construction work at the intersection of Tööstuse, Kopli, and Sitsi streets, the route of bus line No. 73 will be temporarily altered in both directions from July 22 to August 11. Additional stops will also be introduced.

Starting August 1st, tram lines No. 3 and 4 will resume service to the Tondi terminus.

Due to gutter repairs, the Viru Bus Terminal will be temporarily closed to bus traffic from the beginning of the day on Wednesday, July 10, until the end of the day on July 31. This will affect the routes and stops for bus lines 1, 29, and 40.

Starting Monday, August 19, all five tram lines in Tallinn will be back in operation. Tram services had been temporarily disrupted due to the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line and the construction of a grade-separated railway crossing at Tondi.

On August 21, Tallinn city leaders had the opportunity to participate in an accessibility walk. The participants experienced firsthand the challenges that individuals using wheelchairs or strollers face and how the existing infrastructure impacts their journey.

This Sunday, August 25, asphalting work will take place at the intersection of Paldiski maantee and Toompuiestee, resulting in changes to trolley lines No. 1, 4, and 5 from 15:00 until the end of the day.
