From 19 December to 4 January and from 4 March to 31 May, the exhibition "A year in Tallinn 2022" will be open from 19 December to 4 January.

On Saturday 24 December and Monday 26 December, Tallinn public transport will operate according to Sunday timetables.

The City of Tallinn, AS Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT) and the Estonian Red Cross signed a cooperation agreement to donate 20 diesel buses to the Ukrainian city of Zhõtomyr. The buses will be accompanied by a humanitarian shipment of essential supplies to Ukraine.

In autumn 2022, a support measure for conference tourism was created to attract more conference tourists to Tallinn. The maximum amount of support is planned to be up to €30 000 per conference. Tallinn will start supporting international conferences in the city next year. The first call for applications has already been launched and is open until 25 January.

Tallinn city district governments have created over 78 collection points for Christmas trees. The list of the collection points is available on the Tallinn city website.

Tallinn's district governments have set up a total of 79 collection points across the city where old Christmas trees can be given away for free. Collected Christmas trees are not dumped in landfills, but are reused for district heating in the city's houses or to generate electricity.

On Sunday, 5 February, the Estonian Choral Association announced the winners of the annual awards for choral and wind music at the Estonia Concert Hall. The Supporter of the Year 2022 award was presented to the City of Tallinn as last year, as the city provided substantial support for organizing the 1st Tallinn Youth Choirs Festival, supporting the activities of the Finnish Choral Association and other choir concert projects.

The first round of international conference grants will support nine conferences with more than €100 000. While last year was a record year for domestic tourism in the capital, outbound tourism is still recovering and has not yet reached the number of visitors in 2019.

Tallinn City Council decided at today's meeting to change the current trade organization - the trade organization requirements will change for all city authorities and the bodies they manage, including Tallinn’s public markets. A new application for the processing of sales permits will also be created.

Wanderlust travel magazine has awarded Tallinn second place in the category of Europe's Most Desirable City. The second place was awarded to Tallinn thanks to the tourists who visited the city and who were vocal in their opinions on the portal.
