Recent ranking of fDi Magazine „European Cities and Regions of the Future 2023“, published by the Financial Times places Tallinn seventh among the medium-sized cities in Europe.
The Deputy Mayor of Tallinn, Joosep Vimm, announced a new Tallinnovation competition at the MELT innovation forum today. The purpose of the innovation competition, organised in cooperation between the City of Tallinn and the Science and Business Park Tehnopol, is to find smart city solutions that make the city's services and environment more citizen-friendly. For the second year in a row, a total of up to €100,000 will be invested in smart city solutions.
The Tallinnovation competition for innovation organised by Tehnopol and the city of Tallinn received a record 25 applications this year. The jury chose four companies from among them that will receive a total of 100,000 euros to help bring their solutions into the urban space.
