Clevon, a global autonomous delivery innovator, and DHL Express Estonia began their partnership in the summer of 2022. Customers have warmly received the service, and the partners are moving towards expanding their collaboration.

Estonian company Elmo, the first to put teledriving technology into service in 2022, has expanded to Helsinki. As a result, Finland became the second country in Europe to have teledriving on its streets and roads.

Within development of Vormsi green area we are engaging different stakeholders to achieve nature based solution that would suit local expectation and possibilities as much as possible. Collaboration with different organisation we are also able to reach more people and raise awareness regarding benefits of urban nature. Members of cooperation network are formed based on the main goals of GoGreenRoutes project which can be generalised under three main topics: environment, community and wellbeing.

On the 2nd of November team members of the international project “GoGreenRoutes” from Tallinn Strategic Management Office met with the educational institutions near the Vormsi park to learn about their expectations and preferences regarding development of this green area.

On the 3rd of February at 16:00, an open discussion within the GoGreenRoutes project will take place near the playground at Vormsi 5. The goal of the discussion is to continue planning the future of the Vormsi green area with the help of residents, neighbourhood organisations and city officials.

International project GoGreenRoutes is focused on nature-based solutions that could help alleviate the effects of urbanisation and climate change, as air pollution is one of the largest environmental risks in cities that also directly effects the health of citizens.

On the 3rd of February, a meeting took place within the GoGreenRoutes project, during which residents, local organisations and city officials discussed the future of the Vormsi green area. The goal is to maintain the green area and transform it into an accessible leisure space while also considering its existing historical heritage and urban nature that has formed over time. The meeting focused on discussing and planning this year’s activities that could help to reach the desired solutions step by step.
