The City of Tallinn is planning a reconstruction of Valge street in Lasnamäe. The aim of the reconstruction is to make the road more accessible and safer for all road users. The public presentation of the project will take place on 21 February at 5:30 pm at the Lasnamäe District Government (Pallasti 54).

The number of journeys by public transport in Tallinn has started to increase again. The number of journeys has increased by more than 30% when comparing the first months of 2023 with the first months of 2022.

The Urban Environment and Public Works Department announced a contest to recognize the best caretakers who have put a lot of work and effort into maintaining the conditions of pedestrian tracks during the winter season. The deadline for nominations is 31 March.

On Saturday, May 15, Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 20th time. In view of the current restrictions, various opportunities will be offered to participate in Tallinn Day from the beginning of the week.

Tallinn Day will be celebrated for the 21st time on Sunday 15 May, but the first events to mark the city's birthday will take place on Friday 13 May.

Tallinn Day is celebrated as fitting to a UNESCO City of Music - with a wide range of music events and concerts. The programme starts on Friday 13 May with a music morning in Tallinn schools.

The reconstruction of Lastekodu street and the construction of communication lines at the intersection of Liivalaia street, Tartu maantee, and Rävala puiestee will bring traffic changes and public transport reroutes starting July 15. Traffic controllers will assist in guiding the traffic flow.

Due to filming activities, there will be short-term traffic stoppages of up to three minutes on Sunday morning, July 14, on Laagna tee, Veskiposti street, and at the Haabersti roundabout. Additionally, there will be stoppages on Pirita tee on Tuesday evening.
