The Vanasadam (Old City Harbour) tramway was officially opened today, with regular tram services set to begin on Sunday, December 1.

Utility work will be carried out on Uus Street to provide residents with better-quality heating. The city will also build curbless sidewalks to create a shared urban space that is friendly to all road users.

The City of Tallinn is offering residents free legal consultations on designated legal advice days scheduled across various districts. This year's final four sessions will take place in Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, Mustamäe, and Haabersti.

On Friday, August 30, the Kultuuriöö (Culture Night) event, "Ääretud silmapiirid (Boundless horizons)," will transform Tallinn's urban space into a vibrant center of cultural activities. In the evening, a special concert will take place at the Viru Keskus bus terminal, and passengers on night buses departing from the Balti Jaam station will be treated to literary readings.

Münchhausen Productions OÜ will be conducting film shoots on September 9, 11, 16, 17, and 18 in the Kesklinn, Lasnamäe, and Nõmme districts. These shoots will cause temporary road closures for both vehicles and pedestrians. Traffic controllers will be present at all locations to assist local residents and other commuters.

This autumn, Tallinn is planning several updates to the public transport network to improve connections between city districts and offer more convenient transfer options. The construction of the Old City Harbour tramway along Põhja puiestee near Linnahall is set to disrupt tram services to Kopli from May 3 until mid-August. During the first weekend of May, tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will be out of service. From May 6, a temporary tram line No. 1 will operate between Kopli and Linnahall stops.

This upcoming weekend, from the evening of May 3 at 8 PM until the end of Sunday, May 5, tram lines 1, 2, and 5 will not be operating. During this time, shuttle bus line 52 will replace these tram routes between Kopli and Mere puiestee.

Due to the Old City Harbour tramway construction on Põhja puiestee near Linnahall, tram services to Kopli will be reorganized until mid-August. Trams No. 2 and 5 will not be in operation, and a temporary tram line No. 1 will serve passengers between the Kopli and Linnahall stops during this period.
