Due to asphalt paving on Valukoja Street, the routes and stop locations of several bus lines in Ülemiste City will be temporarily altered on October 1 and 2.

The Tallinn City Government has approved a detailed plan that will allow for the construction of new residential and commercial properties in the Paevälja district of Lasnamäe, situated at the border of the city center, opposite the planned Tallinn Hospital on Narva maantee.

On Monday, October 21, the second phase of updates to Tallinn’s public transport network will take effect, aiming to improve connections between city districts and provide more convenient transfer options. In total, 15 bus lines will be affected by the changes.

An additional tram line branch will be established at Tallinn Airport by early 2026, allowing trams to pass each other, tighten schedules if necessary, and potentially open an additional tram line to the airport in the future.

The Old City Harbour tramline will officially open on Friday, November 29, at 12:00, with a ceremony held between Viru Keskus and the Tallink Hotel. The opening event will feature a high-wire act by world-renowned slackliner Jaan Roose and a performance by the Tallinn Police Orchestra. At approximately 12:50, a test ride will be conducted to Old City Harbour, where more surprises await. Regular tram services on the new tracks will begin on Sunday, December 1.
