New residential and commercial buildings planned next to Arsenal Centre
The Tallinn City Government has submitted the detailed plan for the Erika 12 property and its surrounding area in Põhja-Tallinn to the City Council for approval. The purpose of the plan is to change the land use designation from commercial and industrial to residential and commercial, and to grant building rights for the construction of six buildings with up to five storeys, featuring ground-floor commercial spaces and apartments above.
In October, Tallinn accepts hazardous waste free of charge
During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.
Tallinn Marathon will cause changes to traffic

Tallinn initiates construction of a new school in Põhja-Tallinn
Today, on April 15, representatives from the City of Tallinn and the architectural firm Sammas Arhitektuuribüroo OÜ unveiled the project for a new school building and its construction progress at Karjamaa Street 18, Põhja-Tallinn. In response to the growing demand for school places due to new developments in the area, the city plans to renovate a building formerly used as a school until 2021 and open a new primary school with 864 student places.
From next week, the route of bus No 3 in Tallinn city centre will change
As of Monday 11 July 2022, the route of bus number 3 will be changed in the city centre, with the bus no longer passing through Mere puiestee, but instead going from city centre to Toompuiestee and from there to Kalamaja and Kopli.
