The Estonian Restaurant Association (ERL) is initiator of the Tallinn Restaurant Week. The initiative started at 2011 when Tallinn was announced European Culture Capital with 2 restaurateurs who then decided it was about time to present Tallinn restaurants to showcase themselves with pride.
Tallinn City Government sent a draft regulation to the city council. If approved, Tallinn will support international conferences that are held off-season.
The Tallinnovation competition, which supports smart city solutions, received ten applications this year. The city of Tallinn, along with the Tehnopol Science and Business Park, chose four winners from among the ten applicants. The winners will receive 100,000 euros of investment, which is a record-breaking sum.
The Tallinn Digital Summit, an annual event hosted by the Estonian Prime Minister, will take place in Tallinn on 10–11 October. This year’s Summit will focus on delivering trusted connectivity through trusted partnerships.

Our good partner Prototron has launched a new round for finding future changing ideas and to support them. During the last 10 years, Prototron hasfunded 95 clever ideas with 1,22 million euros. These teams have raised more than 62 million euros since they finished Prototron. The success rate of the teams who have done Prototron’s program is about 90% - this Experimental Factory is working!
The nineteenth Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day will take place on 27 September, offering participants more than forty different events and ending with the award ceremony for the winners of the Tallinn Business Awards.
