Tallinn’s public water supply and sewerage development plan to be finalised

The city of Tallinn has drawn up a plan for the development of public water supply and sewerage that sets the course for the development of Tallinn's water sector for the next 12 years. The public discussion of the development plan will take place on 25 April at 5:30pm at the Tallinn Presentation Centre (Vabaduse väljak 7, first floor). Feedback on the development plan can be given until 4 May 2023.

From the point of view of the future of Tallinn's foreign tourism, it is important to invest in activities that increase the attractiveness of the city as a destination and to maintain a stable economic environment aimed at increasing competitiveness.

Tallinn to fight against parking on pavements

Tallinn is implementing additional measures to prevent illegal parking on pavements. The fine will be raised by €40, in several places driving onto pavements will be prevented with posts and landscaping and the municipal police bicycle patrol will also start as a pilot project, targeting primarily parking on bicycle lanes and pavements.
