The board of AS Tallinna Arendused approved the resignation request of the sole board member, Margus Jaanson, effective from May 11. From May 9 until the recruitment and commencement of a new board member, the council has temporarily appointed Joosep Vimm, a current board member, as the interim board member.

This May, Tallinn hosts its spring collection rounds for hazardous waste and reusable items during two weekends—May 11-12 and May 18-19.

As part of Tallinn Day, the Ghetto Games street sports festival is set to take place on a larger scale than ever before on Saturday, May 18, from 12:00 to 19:00. The festival will be held next to the Estonian Maritime Museum at the Seaplane Harbour/Lennusadam area. On May 13 and 14, the Viru bus terminal will be closed to bus traffic due to paving works. As a result, temporary changes will be made to the routes and bus stop locations for bus lines No. 1, 29, and 40 in the area.

Construction work on water and district heating pipelines is ongoing until the end of June in the Kristiine district, specifically along Käbliku and Koskla streets and the section of Sõpruse puiestee between them. Work on Käbliku Street began on May 6. From May 13 to June 3, the bus lane on Sõpruse puiestee heading towards the city centre will be closed, and Koskla Street will be partially closed (near buildings No. 16, 18, and 22).

Due to the Old City Harbour tramway construction on Põhja puiestee near Linnahall, tram services to Kopli will be reorganized until mid-August. Trams No. 2 and 5 will not be in operation, and a temporary tram line No. 1 will serve passengers between the Kopli and Linnahall stops during this period.
