Tallinn Film Wonderland and conference tourism support measure boost Tallinn's business environment
In autumn 2022, a support measure for conference tourism was created to attract more conference tourists to Tallinn. The maximum amount of support is planned to be up to €30 000 per conference. Tallinn will start supporting international conferences in the city next year. The first call for applications has already been launched and is open until 25 January.
STARTERtallinn 2022 winner develops digital home technical passport
On Wednesday, 14 December, Team DoBu was announced as the winner of the STARTERtallinn Autumn 2022 Grand Prix at the Proto Discovery Factory. The digital platform sends reminders to homeowners about home maintenance and warranties.
The Advent candle will be lit on the Town Hall Christmas tree on Sunday
Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart and minister Jaan Tammsalu will light the first Advent candle on Sunday, 27 November at 4pm on the Christmas tree in Town Hall Square.
Construction of the Tallinn Film Wonderland will start next year
Tallinn's 2023 budget includes bridge funding through Tallinn Industrial Parks to start construction of the Tallinn Film Wonderland. In the area of entrepreneurship, attention will also be paid to promoting Tallinn as an attractive tourist destination, supporting small businesses and green innovation. Operational expenditure is planned to be €2.6 million.

Next week on 21 November, 114 ideas for Tallinn's 2023 participatory budget will be put to a referendum in the city's districts - already now, residents can find out more about the ideas to be put to the vote in their own districts on the website.
